Words from the heart.
At the age of 40 & above. A person will naturally becomes much more emotional.
Emotional is accompanied by one's ego. That's human nature.
My parents are already at their 40's. & that i've got to be more understanding.
Each wrong word could hurt their fragile heart. Even if it's just a sigh.
Sensitive.
Well i do have my own feelings too as a growing teenager.
But it's their feelings that i have to consider more.
Responsibilities as a son. A second child.
As a human being, i surely did millions of sins that had hurt their feelings.
Even without realising it.
Raising my voice at dad.
Tears rolling down mom's cheek.
Even if they don't show it, the heart never lies.
Sometimes they throw all the bad things at me without realising that those words does hurt my feelings. I've been trying hard not to hurt their feelings back.
Dad used to said, "No matter what, never raise your voice towards your mother."
It was something that i heard before again & again.
I am glad that i've learnt something from it.
But even if i talk back at her nicely, i was still considered being rude.
" Kau ni memang contoh yang bagus sebagai anak kurang ajar tau, yang selalu dorang tunjuk kat tv tu. Semuanya yg tak baik lah pasal kau"
How painful can a heart accept such words from a mother when all i did was to talk back at her nicely in a polite tone, explaining to her. Yes i may be wrong indeed, but such statements were killing me inside. Just look at the outside world, at least i'm better than all those rascals who doesn't even care about their parents.
Setiap kata-kata itu adalah doa.
Words are prayers.
Dad have been more & more irritating these days. Yes, i know he's trying his best, reminding & advising me everytime. However, dad never seems to understand that most of his words are like sharp knifes stabbing the heart. Dad is a straight-forward person who don't really cares about other people's feelings when he talks. People around him knows that.
One moment i'm trying to please my mum, dad would be the one testing my patience.
The next moment when i try to please dad, mum would be the one testing my patience.
Well that's life anyway. Things that i have to bare with. I am their son afterall. & i never regret having a wonderful family. I'm greatly thankful to God for everything i have in this world.
Syukur Alhamdullillah
Just remember my friends. No matter what you do, never hurt your parents feeling.
Never.
I just feel that i have to let all this out. Remind all of you of how fortunate you are to have your parents. No matter how painful it is to bare with their attitude or actions, they are still your parents. Afterall, they have bared with OUR attitude since the day we were born.
