When everything goes....

After a long tiring practices, meetings, and school commitments, i finally had my wonderful weekend that I've been waiting for. Saturday was the Gema Puisi Artistik Competition. Riverside Secondary School took up the challenge of taking part in the competition although we knew that we were competing with experienced schools such as Bukit Panjang Govt High, Fuhua Secondary School, Tanjong Katong Secondary School, etc.

After weeks of hard work, spending our evening at school cracking our heads to come up with bombastic poetries. Things were getting really tougher when it got really near to the event itself. Misunderstandings. Lack of coordination. One by one caught by a fever. Losing their voices. We were at the tip of giving up. With the support and encouragement from Cikgu Annaliza & Cikgu Syarifah, we continued our journey till the end.

& I would like to have this opportunity to congratulate the GempaQers n thank each and every individual has played a part in making our dream come true. I am so proud of the GempaQers for clinching the 1st runner-up title last Saturday. A big Thank you to teachers, family and friends who gave their fullest support & encouragement. I finally have a wonderful & biggest achievement in my life before i leave my secondary school life as a proud Riversidian. This is definitely the sweetest memories i shared with you guys.

Sunday was another exciting day. I was invited to join the An-Nadhah's silat family picnic. I spent lots of fun organising n playing games. It's feels great having to spent with the people that treat you well. I felt really welcomed though i was rightfully not part of their silat team. But still all of us are in Grasio right? ;D Thank you for the wonderful weekend.
